These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Jesus Trails Challenge mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Jesus Trails Challenge ("we," "us," or "our").By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Jesus Trails Challenge is a virtual walking experience that allows you to walk trails inspired by the paths Jesus walked in the Holy Land. By syncing your daily steps and physical activity from your wellness app (Apple Health or Google Fit/Health Connect), your real-world movement is converted into virtual progress along a chosen trail. Along the way, you unlock scriptures, reflections, historical content, music, and other trail experiences.Upon completing a trail, you earn a physical completion medal that is shipped to the address you provide.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.

• You may create an account using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple.

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Purchases and Payments

3.1 Trail Purchases

Each trail requires a one-time purchase. Prices are displayed in US Dollars at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc.

3.2 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers.

3.3 Website Purchases

If you purchase a trail on our website before creating an app account, your purchase will be automatically linked to your account when you sign up using the same email address used for the purchase.

3.4 Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the Service, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a trail has been purchased and activated. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, please contact us at support@jesustrailschallenge.com and we will work to resolve the issue.If your completion medal arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable time, please contact us to arrange a replacement.

4. Health and Fitness Data

• The Service requests read-only access to step count and distance data from Apple Health (iOS) or Google Fit/Health Connect (Android).

• This data is used exclusively to calculate your trail progress.

• You may revoke health data access at any time through your device settings. If revoked, you may still log activities manually within the app.

• We do not use health data for advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or any purpose unrelated to trail progress tracking.

5. Completion Medals

• Upon completing a trail, you are eligible to receive a physical completion medal.

• Medals are shipped to the address you provide during purchase. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

• Shipping times may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services.

• If your address changes, please contact us before your medal is shipped.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

• Manipulate or falsify step count or activity data

• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers

• Impersonate another person or entity

• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the Service — including text, images, maps, audio, trail designs, scripture compilations, reflections, and the Jesus Trails Challenge name and logo — is owned by or licensed to Jesus Trails Challenge and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

8. Communications

By creating an account and opting in, you agree to receive emails from us, including:

• Welcome emails

• Trail progress updates and milestone notifications

• Scripture reading emails

• Completion congratulations

• Product updates and announcements

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. Transactional emails related to your account and purchases cannot be opted out of.

9. Push Notifications

The Service may send push notifications about your trail progress, milestones, and other relevant updates. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (including Stripe, Google Maps, Apple Health, Google Fit, and others). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

• Step count data from health apps will be 100% accurate

• All content will be available at all times

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jesus Trails Challenge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@jesustrailschallenge.com.

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

• Upon termination, your trail progress data will be deleted. Purchases are non-refundable upon account deletion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
